“When you are comfortable, you perform at your best, period.” - Dr. James Voos, Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at UH
Kyur delivers high-performance medical apparel for elite physicians, enabling them to perform at their best. Kyur is proud to partner with University Hospitals (UH) Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute in Cleveland to outfit their 180-member team with advanced technical scrubs. Kyur’s technical scrubs provide safety, durability, and comfort through innovative fabrics and designs.
Kyur was founded by award-winning designer Nick Cienski, a 25-year industry veteran who has led design teams at Under Armour, Salomon, and Arc’teryx. An accomplished adventurer, Nick personally tests Kyur’s gear, having climbed some of the world’s highest peaks in extreme environments. “Whether in a triage scenario in the field or the operating room, mental and physical stamina are paramount,” says Nick. “That’s why we prioritize highly technical fabrics and designs that support healthcare professionals in any environment.”
Kyur’s technical scrubs, designed in collaboration with the Drusinsky Institute, bring innovative elements from professional athletes, soldiers, and astronauts into the operating room. These scrubs provide an unprecedented level of comfort, durability, and functionality for healthcare professionals who need to perform their best under pressure.
“Comfort is not a luxury; it’s a necessity,” said Dr. James Voos, Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at UH and the Jack & Mary Herrick Distinguished Chair in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. “When we feel at ease, we can focus on what matters most—the care of our patients. Kyur’s technical scrubs blend functionality with comfort, allowing our team to excel.”
Kyur plans to work closely with the Drusinsky team to continue innovating as they expand their offerings to elite healthcare professionals nationwide.
